LATIN OVERDRIVE consists of six musicians all originally from the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area. INSTRUMENTATION: Drums, Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Trumpet, Percussion and Guitar. Our music is a unique musical combination of Original Latin, Jazz, Smooth Rock, Funk, Metal with a touch of R & B. Just under a year and a half in development the band has begun to take form through their compositions and original material. Creating and re-introducing classic style and its musical structures. LATIN OVERDRIVE has recorded our Demo CD that includes 5 original tracks and recorded at "Fat Lady Studios" in Antioch, CA. LATINOVERDRIVE.COM
DANEO MARTINEZ : Keyboards
Jazz/Latin/Fusion : A stellar piano/keyboardist as well as a percussionist and vocalist, he is a studio engineering expert. Daneo brings wit and abundant chops to L.O.D. He's performed with Synthesis, Salsambo, and Latin Spice. Daneo is also a busy Arranger/Composer/Producer, and owner of FAT LADY Recording Studios in Antioch CA where Latin Overdrive records.
BOBBY SIMCOX : Guitars
Metal/Rock/Latin/Funk/Country/R&B: Bobby is the guitar players hero, He plays his signature zachary guitars. www.zacharyguitars.com, Bobbys performances give off an infectious energy, It is an amazing sight too see. Bobby has played lead guitar for: NightStaker, Nobody Famous, Battle Angel, Joyride,Tsunami,Crider,Cry red, Sapo, Bobby is also an accomplished Arranger/Composer and has also been a recent winner of the national guitar competitions.
GEORGE DEMAR : Trumpet/Keyboards
Latin/Jazz/Funk/Soul/R&B: George is a trumpet/trombone/keyboard player extraordinaire, who has a signature sound and a colorful expression of the heart. He has performed with such artist as: Billy Preston, Tavares Brothers, Touch N Go, to mention but a few. And now George has currently become a new member of L.O.D.
GABRIEL DEL ROSARIO : Bass
Rock/Latin/Fusion: Gabriel is the ultimate bass man, the cool Gabe has a phat clean booming sound and a fine acute arranging ability. Gabriel hails from the bay area. He has played with numerous local groups and various rock bands. He also has performed professionally with...Sapo. Gabriel is also an accomplished professional photographer whose band photos are true timeless works of art.
RICHARD SEYLLER : Percussion
Latin/R&B/Funk/Jazz/Soul/World: Richard is an exciting, and captivating masterful percussionist. His many years performing reflect his playing, all percussive, all incompassing. Richard is known to really "turn it out" Richard has performed with....Coke Escovido, Sapo,Synthesis, Tomo, Mike Torres and many other local groups. Richard is also a professional session player having done work at various studios throughout the bay area including:Russion HillStudio SF. Fantasy Studios Berkeley CA, and also Fat Lady Recording Studios Antioch CA, L.O.D.'s preferred Bay Area recording studio. Emphasis on Original material written by members of the band.. ..Poised to Define.
PAUL WILLIAMS: Drummer
